•  An Associate’s Degree or higher in an unrelated field, with at least 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, and at least 480 hours of experience in teaching or providing child care services for children from birth to 8 years old or,

•  Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Pre Kindergarten or Primary Education, Preschool Education, or Family and Consumer Science; or Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, certified to teach children from birth to 6th grade.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine and emergency repairs to building systems, fixtures, fittings, and equipment. They will respond to reports of broken or faulty items, conduct routine inspections and inspect different equipment.

As a Maintenance Person, your responsibilities and duties include (but are not limited to):

•  Conducting routine inspections of buildings and equipment.

•  Performing basic repairs and maintenance, when necessary. 

•  Diagnosing and correcting mechanical issues. 

•  Performing preventative maintenance to keep buildings and equipment from needing repairs.

•  Overseeing contractors when professionals are required

Requirements:
•  Experience with janitorial duties, such as cleaning bathrooms, the building, and classrooms.
